System Administrator at Svenska kraftnät

Do you want to play a key role in the socially important transition of Sweden's energy system? We are looking for a system administrator who wants to support users, develop working methods, and manage the digital solutions that support our facility and operational projects.

About the Position

The expansion of Svenska kraftnät increases the need for a strong support and management function. As a system administrator, you will be part of a team with a central role in managing and further developing several important system supports.

As an expert in your system areas, you provide ongoing support, guide users, maintain instructions, and conduct training as needed. You will participate in the further development of the systems by capturing user requests and channeling them to product owners, which may result in new development requirements.

You will be part of the product owner team, where you and your colleagues share responsibility for the system supports used in project operations. You will collaborate closely, cover for each other, and drive development together.

The role is indirectly linked to supporting Svenska kraftnät's system management, which operates based on the pm3 model.

By supporting the project operations that expand Sweden's transmission network and ensuring they have the right digital support to work smartly, efficiently, and safely, you are helping to enable a robust electricity system for the entire country. It may not always be visible, but it is felt – for real.

Challenges in the role involve being able to meet and manage the various users' interests in how the system supports can be used and developed; within processes and actual system use as well as how user groups wish to use the system support and contribute to development.

You will belong to the Processes and Tools unit, which has a collective responsibility for portfolio management and planning, development, and management of tools that support program and project activities, as well as ensuring that governance models and processes work together effectively. The unit is also responsible for establishing methods that ensure systematic feedback from projects to the line.

About You

Required Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a structured work style and the ability to plan and organize your work effectively. You ensure that tasks are carried out according to established processes and keep track of details. Furthermore, you are considerate and show respect for different perspectives and needs, contributing to a good collaborative climate. The role requires you to be collaborative and actively contribute to creating good relationships and sharing knowledge to achieve common goals. You are also solution-oriented and have the ability to analyze problems and identify practical and sustainable solutions, even in situations where conditions change.

You have a degree in a relevant field such as computer and systems science or other education and experience that Svenska kraftnät considers equivalent.

You also have:

• work experience in operational system administration at the intersection of business and IT
• worked with elevated permissions in system administration
• work experience in user support in both shifts and speech as well as the ability to conduct training
• very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience working:

• closely with project operations, for example by supporting projects with system support
• with project management systems, such as Antura
• with document management systems, for example Alfresco
• with more advanced use of Excel.
